FAQs
Where can I play pickleball in Stowe in 2024?
From (weather permitting) May/June, 2024 - September/October-ish, 2024, outdoor pickleball games will be scheduled at Memorial Park (6 courts).
Memorial Park (6 public courts) 336 Park Street Stowe, VT 05672 map
Stowe High School (2 public courts) 413 Barrows Road Stowe, VT 05672 map
Note: Since play at the Stowe High School takes place on modified tennis courts, the tennis nets need to be lowered from 36” to 34” at the center for regulation height. This is accomplished by one of three available techniques: 1. Slide the existing strap to the right or left until the net is at 34”. 2. Use a bungee cord or adjustable strap at the center of the net to lower it to 34”. 3. If there’s a crank on the post, simply turn it counterclockwise to lower the net to 34”.
Please remember to put it all back the way it was meant to be for the tennis players when play is over (36” at the center).
Topnotchresort.com (2 indoor courts for a fee) 4000 Mountain Road Stowe, VT 05672
Where else can I play Pickleball?

Can I just show up to play pickleball at one of the pickleball locations whenever I want?
Unscheduled games and drop-ins at Memorial Park are welcomed but do come with some risk if there’s a summer camp going on or other town scheduled activities. Games at Stowe High School are first come first served, after the high school tennis season is finished.

I’m new to pickleball and I don’t have a paddle yet. Are there free loaner paddles available?
More often than not, players will arrive with two of their own paddles, so if you’re not too shy, please feel free to just show up and ask one of our friendly members if you can borrow one of their extra paddles. Most people would be happy to introduce a new player to the sport and loan out their extra paddle. Additionally, Stowe Pickleball has donated paddles to be loaned out for games at Memorial Park. Please see an attendant at the main office and ask to borrow one of the many paddles that are available during regular play hours.
